Brandywine and Buchanan are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2022, but not for long. The Bobcats will head out on the road to challenge the Bucks at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Brandywine knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Buchanan likes a good challenge.

On Monday, Brandywine didn't have too much trouble with Colon as they won 57-38. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Magi: they've now won three in a row.

MacKenna Price and Lily Gill were among the main playmakers for Brandywine as the former shot 56% from the field en route to 14 points and seven steals and the latter went 7-for-10 on her way to 14 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Buchanan over Cassopolis in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bucks blew the Rangers out of the water with a 61-23 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bucks had established a 33-point advantage.

Buchanan's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Brandywine, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything came up roses for Brandywine against Buchanan in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 65-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
