Basketball Game Preview: Moscow Bears vs. Sandpoint Bulldogs

The Moscow Bears will take on the Sandpoint Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moscow is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Moscow came up short against Lakeland and fell 59-50.

Meanwhile, Sandpoint unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against Lewiston, falling 72-47. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Bengals are ranked seventh).

Sandpoint's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Moscow, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Moscow came up short against Sandpoint when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 58-45. Can Moscow avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
