It was a good run, but El Camino Real unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Frontier Titans by a score of 3-2.

Ethan Mayo was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, El Camino Real saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luigi Tanner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Carmine Dugar-Stewart also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

El Camino Real's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Frontier, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-8.

Looking ahead, El Camino Real will take on Central in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Frontier, they will challenge Placer at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Hillmen's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
