Softball Recap: Palo Alto Vikings vs. Santa Clara Bruins

Palo Alto dropped their record down to 11-9 on Friday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Santa Clara Bruins, falling 14-4. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bruins earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

Kendall Butler was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Eleanor Wells, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
