Basketball Recap: Loch Raven's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Loch Raven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 47-33 fall against the Dunbar Poets.

When it comes to explaining why Loch Raven lost, don't look at Kensley Marcus. Despite the final result, she posted nine points and seven steals. The dominant performance gave Marcus a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Morgan Jones, who put up eight points and six rebounds.

Loch Raven's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-3. As for Dunbar, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loch Raven will welcome Catonsville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Dunbar will take on Great Mills in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
