Baseball Recap: St. Peter's Prep Takes a Loss

St. Peter's Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 6-0 to the Clarksville Academy Cougars.

St. Peter's Prep got a good showing from Hudson Giddens, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

St. Peter's Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Clarksville Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Coming up, St. Peter's Prep will square off against Auburn at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Clarksville Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Clarksville Academy Cougars challenge Spain Park Jaguars at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
