Softball Recap: Wayne Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

After losing to Southeast Warren the last time they met, Wayne decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Warhawks on Thursday. Considering the Falcons have won six matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Wayne pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Southeast Warren, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.
