It was a proper cat-fight when Firth duked it out with West Jefferson on Tuesday. The Cougars were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Panthers. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Mckenna Erickson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Meg Leslie was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Kieleigh Bales, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
