Northwest had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Urbandale J-Hawks 82-40. Given the Wolves 's advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the J-Hawks are ranked 205th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northwest has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Urbandale, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
