Softball Preview: Western Hills Wolverines vs. Frankfort Panthers
Western Hills is a perfect 10-0 against Frankfort since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Frankfort took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Western Hills, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Western Hills turned things around against Estill County on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Engineers by a score of 7-3.
Alli Jones made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
