They put the hurt on the Jasper Bulldogs with a sharp 5-2 victory on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bears as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Little Cypress-Mauriceville's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-9-1. As for Jasper, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

As for Jasper, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bridge City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Jasper is facing Bridge City at the right time seeing as Bridge City is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
