Baseball Recap: Mineral Wells Comes Up Short

Mineral Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Robinson Rockets.

Mineral Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Robinson, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mineral Wells will square off against North Crowley at 6:30 p.m. on March 20th. As for Robinson, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Godley at 12:30 p.m. on March 22nd.
