Basketball Recap: Southeast Raleigh Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southeast Raleigh was the 64-51 winner over Panther Creek when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Catamounts by a score of 64-62 on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Panther Creek was led to victory by Zy'Vaun Puckett and Savion Mitchell. Puckett shot 67% from the field to rack up 25 points and five boards, while Mitchell dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. What's more, Mitchell posted two steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Keondre Dixie, who had eight points.

Southeast Raleigh now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Panther Creek, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Southeast Raleigh will square off against Ambassador Christian School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Panther Creek, they will venture away from home to face off against Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Catamounts will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
