Volleyball Recap: Sun Prairie West Comes Up Short

Sun Prairie West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grayslake Central Rams.

Sun Prairie West's offense was headlined by Olivia Quinton and Brooke Rhoads, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Sari Marks and her 11 assists. Skye Robinson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Sun Prairie West's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Grayslake Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

Sun Prairie West has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Racine Case on the 27th. As for Grayslake Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Living Word Lutheran on the 27th.
