Basketball Game Preview: Nordonia Knights vs. Copley Indians

Nordonia is 0-4 against Copley since December of 2014 but things could change on Tuesday. The Nordonia Knights will look to defend their home court against the Copley Indians at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Nordonia didn't have too much trouble with Hudson as they won 56-37. The match marked the Knights' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Copley didn't have quite enough to beat Barberton on Friday and fell 64-62. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (59), the Indians still had to take the loss.

The win made it two in a row for Nordonia and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Copley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Nordonia was dealt a bruising 98-62 loss at the hands of Copley in their previous matchup back in January of 2017. Can Nordonia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
