Volleyball Game Preview: Academy of the Holy Names vs. Bethlehem Central Eagles

Academy of the Holy Names is 0-3 against Bethlehem Central since September of 2022 but things could change on Monday. Academy of the Holy Names will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethlehem Central at 4:30 p.m.

Academy of the Holy Names came up short against La Salle Institute on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Academy of the Holy Names was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem Central earned a 2-0 win over Mekeel Christian Academy on Saturday.

Bethlehem Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-2 record this season. As for Academy of the Holy Names, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Academy of the Holy Names couldn't quite get it done against Bethlehem Central in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Academy of the Holy Names avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
