Cheylin extended their home winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Taylor McCarty. The Cheylin Cougars blew past the Pawnee Heights Tigers 75-19 on Saturday thanks in part to McCarty, who shot 8-for-15 from deep and dropped a triple-double with 36 points, ten boards, and 11 assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Cheylin's points.

Another player making a difference was Emily Serrano, who posted ten points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (three).

When it comes to explaining why Pawnee Heights lost, don't look at Abby Hands. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. The match was Hands' eighth in a row with at least 16 points.

Cheylin's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Pawnee Heights, their record is now 6-16.

Cheylin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-30 defeat against Hodgeman County on the 7th. Pawnee Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
