Baseball Recap: Niwot Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Niwot, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Wheat Ridge Farmers 11-1 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Niwot let Kaige Kennedy and Haden Shaw run wild. Kennedy got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple, while Shaw went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. What's more, Kennedy posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April. Charlie Shaw was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
