Softball Recap: Southwestern Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dunkirk on Wednesday, Southwestern came back down to earth. The Trojans came up short against the Olean Huskies on Friday, falling 10-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in April.

Siri Dubois was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Southwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-1. As for Olean, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Southwestern nor Olean have any future games scheduled.
