Basketball Recap: Piedmont Classical Comes Up Short

Piedmont Classical and Bradford Prep squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Piedmont Classical had to settle for second. They took a 60-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Bradford Prep to victory were Luke Hanson and Nigel Wallace. Hanson posted 19 points, while Wallace dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Hanson's third in a row with at least 15 points. Isaiah Baines was another key player, putting up six points and five boards.

Piedmont Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Bradford Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 9-16.

Piedmont Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bradford Prep, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-50 loss against Cherokee on the 26th.
