Soccer Recap: East Carter Starts Season with Win at Home

East Carter gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Morgan County Cougars an 8-0 shutout. East Carter haven't had any issues with Morgan County recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Carter will challenge West Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morgan County, they will head out to square off against Paris at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
