Baseball Game Preview: Darlington Falcons vs. South Florence Bruins

For the second straight game, Darlington will face off against South Florence. Darlington will host South Florence at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Darlington is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Darlington fell victim to South Florence and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bruins.

For South Florence's part, Darlington's batters probably weren't too happy with Brayden Robinson, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (he gave up a single walk). The dominant performance also gave Robinson a new career-low in hits (zero).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Khalon McGee, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Shelden Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Darlington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for South Florence, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
