Baseball Recap: Community Christian Academy's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Community Christian Academy dropped their record down to 11-4 on Friday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of The Master's Academy Lions by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss two weeks ago.

Easton Brooks made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

As for The Master's Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games.

On The Master's Academy's side, they secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Conrad Schmidt, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

As of now, neither Community Christian Academy nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
