Basketball Recap: Bishop Foley Comes Up Short

Bishop Foley lost against Everest Collegiate on January 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bishop Foley Ventures had to suffer through a 65-32 loss at the hands of Everest Collegiate. While losing is never fun, the Ventures can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 713th, while Everest Collegiate are ranked 90th).

Bishop Foley's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Everest Collegiate, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Foley will welcome University Liggett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Everest Collegiate, they will host Muskegon Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
