Volleyball Recap: Centennial Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Centennial saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Foothill Falcons.

Asia Udo-Ema paced Centennial's offense, picking up eight kills. Udo-Ema got some help from Londyn Neal and her 19 assists. Finally, Cydnee Bryant kept Centennial's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Foothill's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lexington Trummell, who had seven kills and one assist.

Centennial is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Foothill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Centennial has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Lone Peak on the 19th. As for Foothill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mira Costa on the 19th.
