Crestview and Western Reserve are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Cougars will challenge the Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Crestview was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 55-54 to Highland. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Western Reserve didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against St. Paul by a score of 66-54 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Roughriders.

Western Reserve's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Crestview, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Crestview couldn't quite get it done against Western Reserve in their previous matchup back in February of 2025 as they fell 57-49. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
