Soccer Recap: Sweetwater Triumphs

Sweetwater kept a clean sheet against Clairemont on Friday. They skirted past the Clairemont Chieftains 1-0. The Red Devils' winning goal came courtesy of David Medina.

Sweetwater's victory bumped their record up to 7-2-3. As for Clairemont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Sweetwater will take on Bayfront Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Sweetwater is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season. As for Clairemont, they will face off against Hoover at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hoover's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
