Volleyball Recap: Cudahy Takes a Loss

Cudahy and Grafton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Cudahy had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Black Hawks. The Packers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Cudahy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-5, 25-10.

Grafton was led to victory by Abigail Barthelemy and Paige Arentz. Barthelemy had ten digs and two aces, while Arentz had 17 assists and four digs.

Cudahy's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Grafton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-10 record this season.

Cudahy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grafton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Berlin Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
