Football Recap: Jenkins Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

With a playoff win on the line, Jenkins rose to the challenge on Monday. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Lakeside Panthers 7-6. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Panthers are ranked 44th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jenkins' win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.6 points per game. As for Lakeside, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.
