Trinity Prep extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Beau Blocker. The Trinity Prep Lions walked away with a 72-60 win over the HALO Wolfpack on Tuesday thanks in part to Blocker, who went 15 for 17 on his way to 41 points. His evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of David Kedar, who posted seven points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in boards (four).
HALO lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kenneth Haynes, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 18 boards. Haynes is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last 15 games he's played dating back to last season. Mason Dukes was another key player, going 6 of 8 on his way to 12 points and three steals.
Trinity Prep's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for HALO, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Trinity Prep will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Scholars Guild Academy at 7:15 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for HALO, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 50-33 victory against Philadelphia Christian School on the 19th.
