Basketball Recap: Five Straight Road Wins for Howe

Howe had won four straight road games and Slatey Jo Free did her part to make it five on Monday. The Howe Lions took down the Talihina Golden Tigers 55-37 thanks in part to Free, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.

Howe is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. As for Talihina, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Howe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 75-34 victory against Central on the 4th. As for Talihina, they have also already played their next contest, a 40-32 defeat against Heavener on the 4th.
