Basketball Recap: Galeton Comes Up Short

Galeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. 2025 welcomed they with a 66-46 loss courtesy of the Coudersport Falcons. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 66-51 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Galeton lost, don't look at Braden WARD. Despite the final result, he posted four points along with eight assists and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of GAVIN SHUTT, who went 7 of 17 en route to 15 points.

Galeton's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Coudersport, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Galeton will head out to face off against Port Allegany at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Coudersport, they will square off against Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
