Basketball Game Preview: San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines vs. Rise University Prep Panthers

The San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines will host the Rise University Prep Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

San Francisco Waldorf is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 71-60 to South Fork on Saturday.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Finian Hudgens, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 18 points. Those 18 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Appel, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 14 points.

Meanwhile, Rise University Prep ended up a good deal behind Pinewood on Tuesday and lost 48-31.

Rise University Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for San Francisco Waldorf, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

San Francisco Waldorf strolled past Rise University Prep in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 55-37. Will San Francisco Waldorf repeat their success, or does Rise University Prep have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
