Basketball Recap: River Forest Comes Up Short

River Forest lost against Hanover Central back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ingots fell 63-50 to the Wildcats. The Ingots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

River Forest's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Hanover Central, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Forest will wrap up 2025 with a road trip to face off against Lighthouse College Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Ingots' defense better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 60.4 points per game this season. As for Hanover Central, they will challenge DeKalb at 10:00 a.m. on January 2, 2026. The Wildcats' defense better be ready for this one: the Barons have averaged an impressive 55.2 points per game this season.
