Volleyball Recap: Osvaldo Robles and Louie Nacu Secure Win for Ventura

Ventura won the last time they faced Buena and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 18, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Ventura was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-20.

Ventura was led to victory by Louie Nacu and Osvaldo Robles. Nacu had 14 digs, while Robles had five digs. Those 14 digs gave Nacu a new career-high.

Ventura now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Buena, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
