Basketball Recap: Vinton County Takes a Loss

Vinton County lost against Jackson back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vinton County Vikings had to suffer through a 60-33 loss at the hands of the Jackson Ironman/Ironladies. The contest marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Vinton County and nudges their season record down to 4-5. As for Jackson, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Vinton County will challenge Nelsonville-York at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson, they will take on Alexander at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
