Soccer Recap: South Plantation vs. St. Thomas Aquinas
South Plantation and St. Thomas Aquinas squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but South Plantation had to settle for second. They fell just short of the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders by a score of 2-1. The Paladins haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
South Plantation's goal came courtesy of Chris McGowan, who's now up to 15 this season.
South Plantation's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5-3.
South Plantation does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Thomas Aquinas has also already played their next game, a 2-2 defeat against South Broward on the 30th.
