Baseball Game Preview: Hamilton Aggies vs. Gordo Green Wave

Hamilton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against New Hope on Saturday as Hamilton made off with a 17-7 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Aggies.

Meanwhile, Gordo won against Florala on Saturday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Gordo blew past Lauderdale County 8-1. That looming 8-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Green Wave yet this season.

Gordo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. Hamilton now has a winning record of 5-4.

Hamilton was able to grind out a solid victory over Gordo when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 8-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hamilton since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
