Freeman put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tri County Trojans 62-30. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Trojans are ranked 171st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Tri County lost, don't look at Drew Siems. Despite the final result, he posted 22 points and five rebounds. Siems' evening made it 13 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Freeman's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Tri County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Freeman Falcons duke it out with the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Johnson County Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Freeman likes a good challenge. As for Tri County, they will head out on the road to take on Elmwood-Murdock at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st.
