Recap: Tooele Buffaloes vs. Hillcrest Huskies

The Tooele Buffaloes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 54-47 to Hillcrest. Tooele has not had much luck with Hillcrest recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Tooele lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Crew Lewis, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ethan B rogers, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Tooele bumped their record down to 3-11 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hillcrest, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Tooele will head out on the road to face off against Stansbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillcrest, they will be playing at home against Murray at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Murray knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 games -- so hopefully Hillcrest likes a good challenge.
