Porterville extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 6-0. They put the hurt on the Strathmore Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Strathmore fell to 3-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

When it comes to explaining why Strathmore lost, don't look at Allisson Hernandez. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Porterville will square off against Lindsay at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Strathmore, they will challenge Mira Monte at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
