Basketball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield suffered their biggest loss since February 27th on Saturday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Gallatin Green Wave an easy 74-53 victory. The Yellow Jackets have struggled against the Green Wave recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Gallatin, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Springfield will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gallatin at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Gallatin and Clarksville will round out the year against one another at at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gallatin is facing Clarksville at the right time seeing as Clarksville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
