Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Mount Olive's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Mount Olive won the last time they faced Whippany Park and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Marauders came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Mount Olive easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20.

Izabella Osoria paced Mount Olive's offense, picking up 11 kills. Osoria got some help from Kaitlyn Tungmun and her 18 assists.

Mount Olive is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Whippany Park, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Olive will challenge Roxbury at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Whippany Park, they will host Morristown-Beard at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
