Volleyball Recap: Sumter Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sumter Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Southern Choctaw Indians. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Indians when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sumter Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southern Choctaw, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Sumter Central and Hale County will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southern Choctaw, they will welcome Wilcox Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
