Baseball Recap: Stagg Takes a Loss

Stagg was the 9-4 winner over Bradley-Bourbonnais when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Chargers lost 18-7 to the Boilermakers on Monday.

Stagg dropped their record down to 5-22 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-12 record.

Stagg and Bradley-Bourbonnais could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Chargers will challenge Sandburg at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (297 vs. 30). Meanwhile, Bradley-Bourbonnais (ranked 87th) will meet Andrew (ranked 22nd) at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
