Soccer Game Preview: Paradise Valley vs. Buckeye

The Paradise Valley Trojans will face off against the Buckeye Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Paradise Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Buckeye will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Paradise Valley turned things around against Shadow Mountain on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Matadors a 4-0 shutout. The Trojans' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

They hit Shadow Mountain with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Franco Ceballos-Lozano, Caden Blackwell, Dusko Kostic, and Oliver Garcia.

Meanwhile, Buckeye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Verrado, falling 3-0.

Buckeye's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Paradise Valley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
