Basketball Recap: Fairview Aggies vs. Tarrant Wildcats
Fairview took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They claimed a resounding 70-17 victory over the Tarrant Wildcats.
When it comes to explaining why Tarrant lost, don't look at Zarriyah Carter. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Carter is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Deandria Woodgett, who posted three points in addition to two steals.
Tarrant's loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Fairview and Corner will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Tarrant, they will venture away from home to face off against Midfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
