Volleyball Recap: Webb Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Webb can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles on Tuesday. The Gauls have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16, 25-11.

Kate Cook paced Webb's offense, picking up six kills. Cook got some help from Alexandra Wang and her 11 assists. Wang was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Webb's loss dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, their win ended an 11-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-20-1.

Webb does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Norte Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
