Oconee County waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jefferson Dragons. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.
While Oconee County might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Jefferson scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19.
Petra Mooney paced Oconee County's offense, picking up nine kills. Mooney got some help from Fendley Kimbro and her 12 assists. Kimbro was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
