Warren and Corry are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Dragons will welcome the Beavers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Warren and five for Corry.

Warren came up short against Cathedral Prep on Wednesday, falling 9-3.

Broc Bryan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. He also scored a run, marking his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Corry lost 7-1 to Fairview on Wednesday.

Corry saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Donoghue, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Corry, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Warren has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Corry struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Warren beat Corry 8-3 in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Beavers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
